Original Work / Passion Projects

With his expansive network of creatives, Thomas has led the production of plays, cabarets, short films, and live events in New York and LA with his company Post Buffalo.

In undergrad, he began producing his original work in order to give himself and his peers performance opportunities that were more authentic to their own experiences. He would later take that drive with him to produce the full-length play What’s Left of the Harringtons (Playwright/Producer) with the New York Theatre Festival, the one act Flash Fire (Playwright/Producer) with Manhattan Rep, and the short films Unrelatable (Writer/Producer), Markswomen (Writer/Producer), and On His Knees (Director/Writer).

Bigger Arenas

Most notably, Thomas was the assistant to an Emmy and Golden Globe-winning Executive Producer/Showrunner on a high-profile television project from pre-production through the wrap on principal photography, spending over 100 days on set.

He was the assistant to an Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning documentarian in their NYC office, working in marketing and outreach.

In fall of 2022, he was the Associate Director/Choreographer of A Chorus Line at the Weathervane Theatre under David Grindrod.

He also has worked in the AD department on sets as a 2nd 2nd AD, Key Set PA, and First Team PA.
